We know that's a confusing name, so we'll make it easier. Meet the ultra-light BMW M3->ke2366 Coupe. The model was developed by Packeisen Motorsport from Wuppertal, Germany and will make its world debut in Spring 2011. German customers will have to pay 16,000 Euro in order to obtain this lightweight M3.

The PM3 V8 CSL Light will weigh only 2,850 lbs, including the driver and all the fluids necessary for driving. In order to obtain this weight savings, the tuner added a hood, trunk lid, doors made of carbon fiber, an FIA-approved safety cell, an airjack system for faster tire changes and a tank volume of no less than 100 liters. They also added screws made of titanium, magnesium, or aluminum.

If you believed the tuner only worked on reducing the weight, well you would be wrong. The engine has also been tuned to deliver 485 HP. It is expected for this car to lap the Nurburgring in less than 7:30 minutes.
