2011 BMW 335i Performance Edition

Following the quick sell of the M3 Frozen Black Edition comes a new special edition that will be used to bring the M3 production to a climatic close. The new BMW 335i Performance Edition (standard pictured) will feature a boost in power and some distinguishing characteristics.

Details on the new model are still scarce at this point, but during the July BMWNA Sales Roundtable Broadcast, BMW announced that the 335i Performance will get an additional 20 HP and another 32 lb-ft of torque to add to the standard model’s 300 HP and 300 lbs-ft. With this increase, the sprint from 0-60 mph can be made 0.2 seconds faster. Not a huge difference, but apparently enough to make a special edition out of it. Folks using the Beamer as a daily driver need not be impressed.

In addition to the mild power increase, the new model will also be equipped with black kidney grilles (stock ones in the trunk) and a "Performance Edition" badge. Potential customers will need to know that the new package can only be combined with the 335i models carrying the Sport/M-Sport package (must have increased top speed code 840).

Other than that, there’s nothing else to write home about at this time. The new BMW 335i Performance Edition will be available on August production 335i sedans with an additional $550 price tag. More details should be revealed closer to the production date.

320 horsepower is I think didn’t enough for this vehicle. However, I would admit that its exterior style and design is really so admiring. I just only hope that it also has an impressive interior.

I must say that it is absolutely looking great on its sleek body paint, although I noticed that it only had a simple and ordinary detailing. Anyway, I think the engine of this one, is quite good enough for it.

Its glossy paint gives it the looks of a sophisticated and classy car even the car lines that it has but I must say that the platform designed is not impressive at all.

Oh yeah, the styling of the car is quite impressive. I was amazed in the boosted figure performance of the vehicle. I wonder on what will be the competitor of the car.

The styling was great and as well as the performance. The car seems faster in terms of 0-60 mph. I think this would be the start of the i-series.

This special edition of M3 is not that impressive. They need more science on this one. They think that this will be a big production because the frozen edition becomes successful, they don’t know that people nowadays become weary on such repetition.

Too bad that they haven’t improved the speed performance of the car although it doesn’t have an impressive styling. I guess, this production doesn’t improved the car that much.

I think the styling of its exterior is kind of bloat loaded. BTW, if this car can already beat the MazdaSpeed 3 with its box engine! The last time was it lose against the Mazda car.

Well, I would agree that special editions tend to be lacking in some areas, but I would say that they are still worth the purchase. After all, BMW includes a ton of features here.

One of the most anticipated Sedan this year. That’s what I describes this car. This special edition is really a must-see car by BMW. You won’t feel the price if you see through its classy performance and strong figure.
