2011 BMW X5 and X6 Exclusive Editions

  Review

BMW will be unveiling the special edition X5 and X6 Exclusive Editions at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September. Both of these models were created by using special paints and materials. The two models will be put on sale this fall.

The X5 and X6 Exclusive Editions will be painted in an exclusive Orion Silver Metallic color that is only available on the 6-Series and will be combined with soft Nevada leather, special wheels, and a dark bamboo interior strip. Currently there are no details on the engine that will be used for the two models, but we do not expect to see big changes under the hood.

These new exclusive editions will only be offered for the top versions of the two models which are powered by a V8 petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo and direct injection. This engine delivers a total of 407 bhp at 5,500 – 6,400 rpm.

Well, I love the simplicity of this one, and I noticed that its aesthetic design was oozing with appeal and aggressiveness that its car lines either expressing.

Impressive car indeed! I love the luxurious and classy look of this exclusive edition. I’m only just wonder about the interior features of this car, the article didn’t say anything about it.

I agree. However, I think this exclusive edition will not hurt the sale of the M-series. BTW, I think the styling of the car is just similar with the car that contains the M package.

I think it would be better to less consider these vehicles since its not that stunning compare to the M-series. The deliver power output is kind of powerful though its not that appealing.

The speed performance of the car has an impressive styling. I think this is just a huge production of a coupe version.

As expected from the vehicle it has an impressive speed performance. The twin turbo of the car has made it an awesome production.

Same thing here. I also wonder why. I think they just want to have a two car from one version. For me, that is not a good sign. They are now lacking on ideas on what kind of car they must produce.

For an SUV, the performance delivery is quite impressive. These versions are good, but I’m still wondering why they devide this into two, since it have the same interior and exterior features. I’m really confused.

Agreed. There’s no much thing to offer on this special edition. I was looking on what so special on this production for I believe it still needed a modification on its aerodynamic kit. I would be happier to see an engine upgrade!

Honestly, the special edition is kind of disappointing for it doesn’t offer much package unlike the standard version.  The car is not that impressive compare to the M series but its engine performance is quite speedy.
