2013 BMW 6-series Gran Coupe by AC Schnitzer

The new generation BMW 6-Series already caught AC Schnitzer ’s attention in the tuning world, so it was to be expected that the company would also work its magic on the Gran Coupe version. The package announced by the German tuner includes a pretty cool exterior kit, as well as a 40 HP power increase for the 640i version and 47 HP increase for the 640d version.

The exterior kit includes a new front spoiler, a chromed front grille with a chrome strip, a rear skirt extension, and rear skirt protective film, as well as a new set of lightweight forged alloy wheels available in both 19" or 20" sizes. For the interior, the model has received a pretty cool "Black Line“
aluminum cover for the i-Drive system controller, aluminum footrests and pedals, and velour floor mats.

In order to obtain the extra power, AC Schnitzer is offering ECU upgrades, plus a new twin sports rear silencer with chromed "Sports Trim“ tailpipes. As a result, the output for the 640d went from 313 HP to 360 HP and the 640i went from 320 HP to 360 HP.

In order to handle the extra power, the 6-Series Gran Coupe also received an 8-piston high performance brake system for the front which includes 8-piston fixed calipers (left/right), an 8-piece set of brake pads, and brake caliper holders.

The totality of this 6-series is very impressive. You would notice it with the features it has.

I won’t have any second thoughts on spending thousand dollars for this tuned up 6-series by Schnitzer. The changes have massively brought a captivating effect on this car. I’m contented looking at its still picture, but it would be awesome if I’d get to see it in motion.

The elements of the 6-series remains on the 2013 model. It looks like the nose is sharper than former models.

The addition of the 47HP on the 6-Series by AC will give higher expectation on BMW. I hope they are prepared for it.

Oh, it says they will have 8-piston fixed calipers and brake pads.

If they are looking for a higher ground clearance, why not place some wheels like the DeLorean Monster Truck?

For more ground clearance, much better if they chose the 20” wheels.

AC added some spice on this Gran Coupe, that’s why it looks fresh and hot.

AC just enhanced its performance, but I want more from that.

When it comes to features and materials of the BMW, you can expect that it will be elegant and luxurious looking vehicle.

It has a common design but it’s exterior kit is great! I think they will make the Gran Coupe version even better.

For the interior design, it is too fabulous because they have an aluminum foot rests and pedals, and velour floor mats.

Should it be a Grand Sedan and not a Gran Coupe?

They must focus on its current platform. The Gran Coupe might be different if they focus on the performance parts.

They must be focusing on new innovations aside from its performance.

AC can make it happen it again. The addition of 40-47HP on its current output is already a big output. So expecting it to make it better and perform well.

You’ll love this all. It garnered attention on the Good Wood Hill Climb, and this will make more noise when they finally set a date for its availability in the market.
