Risden Engineering isn't really a household name in the auto tuning industry relative to all the big names that are out there.

But when you're talking about performance upgrades, these guys do it with a capital 'P'.

Their latest foray into the world of aftermarket upgrades is a track-focused program for BMW’s->ke178 resident luxury sports coupe, the mighty M6 Coupe.

Details have been scarce at this point, partly because Risden is targeting a launch by the first quarter of 2013, but we expect nothing less than a complete juicing up of pony power, in addition to a possible weight reduction, a suspension improvement, and aerodynamic upgrades, all of which Risden has been known to be extremely awesome at.

Judging by the photos, the aero components certainly speak for themselves. There's a new front bumper with its own spoiler, new fenders with multiple air outlets, a trunk lid spoiler, an enormous rear wing, and a vented rear bumper with what looks like a new diffuser and trapezoidal twin tailpipes.

That's our observation based on the photos Risden Engineering released. It doesn't mean we'll see the exact same thing, but we're confident that these guys will have a completed program that will blow the lid off of any expectations we may have of it.
