G-Power ->ke1323 continues to do wonders for the BMW M6 Gran Coupe. Because of its work on the model, it's not surprising that the German tuner jumped at the chance to work on another M6 Gran Coupe.

The tuning firm's new Bi-Tronik 5 system is a step up from the Bi-Tronic-III V2 kit that we previously saw on the M6 Gran Coupe back in 2013. Part of that "step up" is a noticeable bump in output that should ring music to the ears of M6 Gran Coupe owners. All the cursory modifications are also there, including upgrades for the wheels, brakes, and suspension system.

But the most noticeable and surprising modification happened on the car's interior. Who knew G-Power had the knowledge to create a multi-functional cabin that features an eclectic yet effective package featuring fine leather, Alcantara, iPads->ke3656, and an iMac that comes with Apple->ke2851 TV? It's a pleasant shift from what we're used to with G-Power and it's a big reason G-Power's program for the M6 Gran Coupe has our unbiased seal of approval.

BMW M6 Gran Coupe By G-Power in detail

The star of this program is G-Power’s Bi-Tronik 5 system, which has a unique way of modifying the amount of fuel and the ignition timing depending on its boost level. The Bi-Tronik 5 system uses a patched-in microprocessor to improve the car’s ECU management system without disrupting the system’s diagnostic functions.

What this system does is add enough horsepower to turn the M6 Gran Coupe into a bonafide super-saloon that produces 710 horsepower and 656 pound-feet of torque. That’s a hefty 150-horsepower and 155-pound-feet increase from the standard 560 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque delivered by the 4.4-liter, V-8 engine.

You might not realize it at first but if you look closer, you’ll notice that the M6 Gran Coupe also got an upgraded exhaust system. A new titanium exhaust system finds its way on the M6, and customers can even choose between titanium or carbon tailpipes. Combining the exhaust system with the Bi-Tronik 5 system pushes the total output to 740 horsepower and 719 pound-feet of torque.

The interior of this program is a sight to behold, not so much because of its luxurious amenities but because of all the tech options it has. Up front, the M6 Gran Coupe was treated to an ergonomic sports steering wheel with carbon and leather fitments. This same treatment makes its was to other parts of the cabin, including the center console. Soft leather and Alcantara cover the rest of the interior’s surfaces, making it look like an authentic luxury interior. It’s going to be a headache to clean, but that’s a problem reserved for another day.

A heavy dose of illuminated G-Power logos complement these luxury refinements, as well as an exclusive and mouth-watering multimedia entertainment system. IPads have been installed on the back of the front seats while a central monitor hides in the roof and lowers with ease. There’s also an Apple iMac that comes equipped with Apple TV. And you thought there was nothing else to do in the back of the M6 Gran Coupe.

A G-Power tuning kit isn't complete without the inclusion of a set of wheels. Not much has changed on this M6 Gran Coupe program because it comes dressed in a fancy set of 21-inch G-Power Hurricane RR forged wheels wrapped in a set of Michelin tires.

These wheels are more than just aesthetic pleasures as they work well with G-Power's new height-adjustable GM6-RS coil-over suspension that has nine different settings.

Likewise, a G-Power Braking System comes with it, providing the M6 Gran Coupe higher braking force than the stock system, as well as a ceramic braking system that not only reduces unsprung mass by half, but also improves the coupe's cornering and road handling capabilities.
