The folks over at Prior Design have been rolling out some great mods lately, and we're not talking just about the White Phoenix kit for the 2014 Audi R8. No, the company's PD550 package for the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is way cooler, especially for bringing a Black Series-like look to the four-door coupe->ke141 before the company even thought about doing it. The German specialist is also known for having a thing for BMWs->ke178. It has been modifying anything from compact 3 Series to the larger 7 Series->ke323 in the past, but, more recently, the tuner turned its focus to the M6 GranCoupe, the four-door coupe we've already had an in-depth look at.

As with most Prior Design projects, the M6 GranCoupe received a more aggressive appearance via a body kit that changed everything from the bumpers to the fenders, and added a brand-new hood and a trunk-lid spoiler. The larger rear diffuser blends perfectly with the bumper's lateral air outlets, and a set of beefier wheels and tires are in place to make sure this M6->ke208 stays glued to the road.

BMW M6 GranCoupe PD6XX By Prior Design in detail

Finished in gold, the ADV1 wheels come in 20-inch sizes and are wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx tires housed by widened wheel arches. Their main duty is to make sure that the huge amount of output -- raised from 560 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque to 685 horsepower and 604 pound-feet -- is put to good use when it touches the ground. Obviously, the 4.4-liter, V-8 engine sounds meaner in Prior's state of tune, especially with that stainless-steel sports exhaust peeking from the rear.

Interior alterations are spectacular as well, with huge amounts of leather and Alcantara covering anything from the the seats to the center console, dashboard and the steering wheel. Everything is complemented by fine stitching and refined details, and buyers can order it in many different colors. There's no way you can get so much luxury in a factory-built M6 GranCoupe.

Besides these standard features available to any vehicle ordered with the tuner's PD6XX package, customers can also select from a number of options that further enhance the M6 GranCoupe. For instance, buyers can get the entire aerodynamic body kit in carbon fiber, while more demanding buyers can get 90-mm carbon exhaust tips in place of the stainless-steel ones.
