2014 BMW Z9 Spyder

  Review

Audi and Mercedes, watch out! BMW is preparing a successor for the Z8 that will compete with models like the Audi R8 and the Mercedes SLS. The British magazine Auto Express reports that the supercar will be called the Z9 and it will be inspired by the California Spyder concept unveiled at the 2005 Los Angeles Motor Show and the Vision EfficientDynamics concept unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Like the Z4 roadster, the future supercar will feature a long bonnet and tiny front with rear overhangs and a double-bubble deck rear similar to the one used in the Porsche Boxster Spyder. The Z9 will also feature new design elements introduced by BMW’s new styling boss, Adrian Van Hooydonk. The active front splitter and rear diffuser will change shape at speed to optimize air flow around the car to improve fuel efficiency.

The Z9 will be built on the same platform as the 7-Series and will feature a carbon-fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) body. Under the hood there will be the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine from the M5. Output will be in the 600 HP area.

Production version is expected to debut in 2014.

Elegant in style inside and out from its exterior and interior. It doesn’t only show a good-looking car but also an awesome speed performance. I would also prefer the silver body-paint than the black one because the black concept looks dull on it.

Good looking. I prefer the silver than the black one, I think its more aggressive. The red interior is good blend for this one, it’s quite impressive.

Spyder is the most impressive cars here in BMW, and I love the fact that it is a convertible car. I just don’t like the color of its interior features, but I love the wheels of it. The wheels emphasize the pretty image of this car.

Yeah! I’m agreed with them, there’s no reason why they need to be watch out for this, but I must say that it is really quite impressive and even cool on its few modification.

I must agree with them that this Z9 spyder is the most impressive convertible car that BMW had. I can’t wait for 2014, and I must give a compliment with the engine that they use.

Red interior touch is not bad at all instead I’m impressed with the over all designed and features of this Z9 Spyder and the car lines that it had adds more beauty on it.

It really quite impressive but I must say that I don’t like the color that they used on its interior though the over all design of his Spyder convertible car is really an eye catcher and the car lines emphasize the beauty that it had.
