BMW->ke178 is once again showing off its Individual program; this time with the revised X6 for the 2015 model year. Besides all the improvements and updates made to the X6,->ke2396 the Individual program allows owners to order their X6 -- or any other BMW product -- with a high level of customized features not normally available.

In this case, BMW is showcasing a Pyrite Brown Metallic X6. The special paint is compete with an extra level of metallic flake, adding luster to its looks. Rolling on unique 20-inch V-Spoke 551 wheels, the crossover SUV->ke145 looks just different enough to be noticed, yet not scream for attention. Of course, a plethora of other colors are available as well.

BMW demonstrates four new colors for the interior, however. The choices include Criollo Brown, Nutmeg, Amaro Brown, and Smoke White. Other parts of the interior are customizable as well. BMW shows off a close-up of a dashboard finished in Merino Leather Taupe, Merino Leather Scotch, and an Alcantara headliner dyed in a Scotch Dark tone. Light Brown wood trim finishes the look off.

Another interesting and arguably more functional option is the BMW Individual Cooling Box located behind the rear bench. It attaches just aft of the center arm rest and is accessible though the center pass-through. Spaces for several bottles and other items gives passengers the opportunity to enjoy "in-flight refreshments." Of course, if you need the extra luggage space, you can remove the cooling box from the rear cargo area.

All of these limited-edition features and options are available though BMW Individual on the X6 and other vehicles across the BMW lineup.

BMW X6

The newly revised 2015 BMW X6 is an evolutionary next step for BMW with its large SUV with its coupe-like roofline, powerful engine lineup, and sport-tuned suspension. The X6’s interior is familiar yet revised with an updated look that closely resembles the X5’s latest refresh.

Those powertrain options include a 3.0-liter TwinPower inline six-cylinder and a 4.4-liter V-8. The 3.0-liter is the standard engine and it puts out 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque to either the rear wheels or all four, depending upon which drivetrain is selected. The 4.4-liter V-8 is the powerhouse of the two, putting down 445 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque.

Pricing for the 2015 X6 starts hasn’t yet been released, but the 2014 begins life at $60,800 for the ‘base’ xDrive35i. The V-8 model starts at $71,400, and of course, both version’s prices will dramatically rise with the number of options and the level of tip selected.
