The Geneva Motor Show is now upon us, and just as the sun is bright and the wintertime is as cold as the other side of the clouds, German tuning firm, Brabus, has finally unveiled their tuned-up SLS AMG masterpiece.
Calling it the BiTurbo 700, which was taken after the performance upgrades done on the car, Brabus seems to have done its homework quite well with their work on the Mercedes supercar. Not only does the car generate more power than the stock SLS AMG, it also has plenty of aerodynamic upgrades that make the car look sportier and far more aggressive. Brabus also did well for themselves in giving the SLS a matte gray exterior finish, adding style and class to an already sporty and powerful machine.
We’ve seen a lot of works done by Brabus over the years, but we can honestly say that this particular program ranks right up there with the Rockets.
UPDATE 03/02/11: This review has been updated with Brabus 700 Biturbo’s full specs, as well as new images.

After previewing two of their Geneva-bound works – the Brabus Rocket and the Brabus SLS – the German tuning company has released the first official photo of their third and final Geneva offering: the Brabus Smart ForTwo Ultimate.
For a company that specializes on upgrading Mercedes and Maybach vehicles, Brabus doesn’t always get to work on Smart-branded vehicles. As a matter of fact, the Smart ForTwo Ultimate will only be the second Smart vehicle to be tuned by Brabus, after the Ultimate 101 back in 2006.
Details behind the overall package are still being withheld, but unlike the two other vehicles headed for Geneva, Brabus decided to release a photo of the Ultimate Smart ForTwo in all its glory. Looking at the photo, you’ll notice that the car comes in the same matte gray body finish as the two other vehicles. There also appears to be some hints of carbon fiber on the car as well as some fancy – at least as far as Smart standards are concerned – set of Brabus machined-alloy wheels on the car. While they have yet to release information on what’s under the car’s hood, we’ve been informed that the Ultimate Smart ForTwo will also come with a modified engine.
The Smart Ultimate, together with the Brabus Rocket and the Brabus SLS, will make their debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Be sure to check back with us to find out more information on this decked-out Smart ForTwo when details become available.
A few years ago, noted Mercedes tuning firm Brabus released their monster of a sedan appropriately called ‘Rocket’. Back then, the Brabus Rocket blazed through the record books for posting a top speed of 227.26 miles per hour, becoming the fastest four-door saloon of its kind or size in the world. Five years after the last Brabus Rocket burned out hearts, the German tuning firm is gearing up for one pretty damn good sequel.
Now that Mercedes has a new CLS-Class ready to hit the streets, Brabus took one of these bad boys back to their shop to give it their own, shall we say, ‘interpretative modifications’. The result, ladies and gentlemen, is the new Brabus Rocket.
Details behind the new Rocket have yet to be revealed – Brabus is saving the surprise for Geneva – so we’re just going to have to settle for waiting a few more days before we can get a good look at what could be another record-breaking four-door sedan. In the meantime, do check out these teaser photos of the new Rocket courtesy of Brabus. It doesn’t show a whole lot, but it does tell us one clearly important thing: the new Brabus Rocket has finally arrived.
With the new generation Mercedes CLS recently launched it was just a matter of time until it would caught tuner’s attention. And it did, time time from Brabus. This time they have only focused on the standard version, but a more powerful kit based on the CLS63 AMG model has also been announced.
Their package for the CLS includes both interior and exterior updates, but also a pretty impressive engine update. While for the standard CLS the tuner revealed no details, they promised that for the AMG version the 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine will be tuned to deliver an impressive 730 HP (up from a standard of 525 HP).
And for the interior there is the usual Brabus front and rear bumper, new side skirts, lots of LED lights, Brabus logo and of course a new set of wheels. There is no words about the interior just yet, but be sure it will be more sportier than ever.
Brabus has announced an impressive tuning package for the Mercedes S350 BlueTec equipped with the Euro VI exhaust emission standard. Thanks to a ECO PowerXtra D6S performance kit, the model delivers an extra 54 HP and an extra 70 NM of torque.
The ECO PowerXtra D6S kit’s performance increase depends on the selected shift mode of the 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission. In ‘Eco’ mode the maximum power output of the engine remains unchanged, but the peak torque jumps from standard 457 to 509 lb-ft. Upon switching to ‘Manual’ or ‘Sport’ mode, the increase in torque is accompanied by an increase in maximum power output from 255 HP to 308 HP at a low 3,600 rpm.
Equipped with the kit, the S350 will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.5 seconds, while top speed remains limited to 155 mph.
The same kit is also available for all four body styles of the Mercedes E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and for the new CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model.
Press release after the jump.
