Brabus is getting into the spirit of celebration, they are celebrating 30 years of the G Wagon with a modified version that bests what Mercedes and even AMG have to offer. The Brabus G V12 S bi-turbo showcases the latest in the German tuner’s automotive arsenal. The aftermarket manufacturer has a long tradition of modifying Mercedes Benz models with high-performance 12 cylinder engines and this variation of the G Wagon is no different.
Who knew the folks over at Brabus are really Star Trek nerds? The German tuning house got its hands on a Tesla Roadster, and while it didn’t add any engine performance parts, it did manage to add sound effects.
The car comes with the usual type of body enhancements. This new kit includes a carbon-fiber front apron, new daytime running LEDs integrated in the front bumper activated by the keyless fob or by pulling the door handle, matte-white surrounds for the headlights, new carbon-fiber air inlets, a new rear spoiler and a new carbon-fiber diffuser. The kit is completed by the Brabus Monoblock S light-alloy wheels in size 7Jx18 in front and in size 8.5Jx19 in back.
What makes this kit interesting (geeky) is that it features a "space sound generator". This is a system that simulates the engine sounds such as a V8 engine, a racecar engine and two futuristic soundscapes named "Beam" and "Warp".
Although the new Mercedes GLK was recently launched (it hasn’t even hit the U.S. shores yet), the German tuner Brabus unveiled its latest program for the GLK. Under the hood, with the help of the Brabus ECO PowerXtra D6 the 320 CDI 4Matic engine delivers now 272 hp making the sprint from 0-60 mph in just 6.9 seconds while the top speed is limited to 142 mph.
The V6 from the GLK 350 4Matic, with the help of the Brabus B7 power kit develops an impressive 287 hp but for those who wish more, the tuner offers the Brabus 4.0 displacement engine boosting it to 332 hp, making the sprint 60 mph possible in 6.1 seconds.
BRABUS revealed its latest work, the B63 S performance kit built specially for the powerful engine of the Mercedes C 63 AMG. The new kit features free-flow high-performance metal catalysts, sport air filters and recently programmed engine electronics with custom mapping for ignition and injection. All these improvements manage to rise the total output to 530 hp. Another addition to this package is the BRABUS Vmax unit, available in two versions for top speeds of 186 or 195 mph. Now the car can reach 60 mph in just 4.1 sec and 124 mph in 13.1 sec.
Important modifications were made also at the tires, suspension and brakes considering the impressive speed of the tuned C63 AMG engine. The car gets 19-inch high-performance tires from Pirelli or Yokohama fitted in multi-piece BRABUS Monoblock VI, E or S light-alloy wheels serving as support for reaching the top speed of 315km/h. The rear axle stops with 360 x 28 millimeter (14.2 x 1.1 inches) discs and 6-piston aluminum fixed calipers. These high-tech brakes can keep even the enormous performance of a tuned C 63 safely in check at all times.
Brabus announced today that its 730 hp supercar, the Brabus Bullit Black Arrow, will go on sale at a starting price of 348,000 euros. Capable to deliver astonishing performances like 0-100 km/h in 3.9, seconds and a top speed of 360+ km/h, the vehicle features larger air ducts to supply the cooling air for radiators and front brakes but also a three-piece rear spoiler and new rear apron with integrated air diffuser in order to make the car more stable on the roads.
As you expected the body kit has to be very light but also very resistant. The tuning company used some of the latest technologies and built the body of the car using autoclave-baked carbon fiber which represents a state-of-the-art material. More details after the jump!
All of you know the Mercedes G-Class! Brabus knows it too, very well, but it never stops unveiling upgraded versions of the off-road vehicle. The latest version is powered by the 5.5 liter V8 engine capable of delivering 550 hp and 780 Nm of torque. With this amount of power the car can sprint from 0-100 km/h in less than 5 seconds while the top speed is limited to 250 km/h. As you can see the car is a black superlative: black windows, black colour, black wheels and a black interior with black leather. No words about the price yet!

The powerful engine inforces a five-speed automatic transmission and a special Brabus limited-slip differential. The package is completed with a new sports exhaust system, a special suspension kit and a high performance brake system. With all this added the SL can reach now 0-60mph (0-100km/h) in just 4 seconds flat and up to 124 mph(200km/h) in 10.5 seconds with a top speed of 219 mph.
The body kit was aerodynamically-enhanced due to a very customized look completed by Brabus. The front bumper was replaced by the front apron and features LED daytime tunning lights and high beam and fog lights. Beside the R230 body kit for the Mercedes SL, Brabus released also the ECO PowerXtra kit for the Mercedes CDI diesel engines. The kit increase the engine power up to 53 hp, add torque up to 100Nm and can be installed in vehicles which meet the Euro 4 emission limits. Brabus did not reveal any technical specs, but if we look at the 730 hp V12 engine of the previous Brabus SL that was able to hit 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds and had a top speed limited to 350 km/h, the performances of the new vehicle will be way better than these.
