With a limited production run of only 10 units, the new Brabus E V12 Black Baron is indeed a car for the powerful. In short, the black Benz can simply be described by the numbers: 800 HP, 1047 lb-ft of torque, 217 MPH top speed and a price of $875,000. It is no wonder why they only made 10, that much Mercedes only belongs in the hands of a few.

Brabus E V12 Black Baron

The Brabus E V12 Black Baron is based on the new 2010 E-Class and in true Brabus fashion, a 6.3 Liter biturbo V12 has been shoehorned into place where the standard 5.5 Liter 8 cylinder mill would have sat. As part of the Brabus power package, the engine includes a ram air induction system, a quad tipped exhaust and a reprogrammed engine computer to get the most from the new power plant.

On the outside the German tuner has added a redesined front bumper, bolder front fenders, aggressive side sills and an aerodynamic inspired set of rear wheel covers. There is a more pronounced spoiler mounted on top of the trunk and a carbon fiber diffuser underneath.

Aside from the body modifications, the E V12’s performance has also been improved considerably: the Brabus E V12 rockets from 0 to 60 MPH in just 3.7 seconds, hit 125 MPH in about 10 seconds while on its way to a top speed of 217 MPH, or even 230 MPH if you can persuade them to remove the electronic limiter.

Brabus is preparing to smash a new world record at the Frankfurt Motor Show with the unveiling of the SV12 R - the world’s fastest and most powerful luxury sedan. Based on the latest Mercedes S 600 facelift, the SV12 R develops 750 hp and can hit a top speed of 211 mph.

In order to obtain the power increase, Brabus added larger turbochargers, a more efficient intercooling system and a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with four tailpipes and metal catalysts with low back pressure. As a result the engine delivers 750 hp at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque of 995 lb-ft at 2,100 rpm. The SV12 R sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds, can hit the 124 mph barrier after just 11.9 seconds and is electronically limited to a top speed of 211 mph.

Next to this immense power upgrade, the SV12 R also adds custom-tailored front aluminum sport fenders that replace their production counterparts, an air vent made from clear-coated carbon and a horizontal brace that spans the outlet with embossed BRABUS signet and integrated LED lights, BRABUS rocker panels that feature integrated entrance lights and light-alloy wheels with diameters ranging from 17 to 21 inches.

When you purchase a Mercedes Benz S65 AMG you get a luxury limousine filled with the latest and greatest creature comforts on the inside and a 612 HP turbocharged V12 under the hood. However in the world of high end tuning as in most car culture circles, too much is never enough, so if you are not happy with what you got from the factory you can take your AMG built Mercedes Benz S Class to Brabus and have them upgrade your engine’s maximum output to 730 HP. That is almost 100 HP more than a Ferrari Enzo and only 270 HP less than the Bugatti Veyron .

Aside from the insane amount of power, this S65 AMG has been murdered out by Brabus with the black on black color scheme. We are esecialy partial to the Matte finish. The S Class is upgraded with a set of wide body front fenders and a set of their custom wheels that continue the monochromatic paint job. We are still waiting to see a few more images of the wild red interior of this Brabus SV12 S. If it is anything like the exterior, we can be certain that it is a top notch installation.

Who knew the folks over at Brabus are really Star Trek nerds? The German tuning house got its hands on a Tesla Roadster , and while it didn’t add any engine performance parts, it did manage to add sound effects.

Tesla Roadster by Brabus

The car comes with the usual type of body enhancements. This new kit includes a carbon-fiber front apron, new daytime running LEDs integrated in the front bumper activated by the keyless fob or by pulling the door handle, matte-white surrounds for the headlights, new carbon-fiber air inlets, a new rear spoiler and a new carbon-fiber diffuser. The kit is completed by the Brabus Monoblock S light-alloy wheels in size 7Jx18 in front and in size 8.5Jx19 in back.

What makes this kit interesting (geeky) is that it features a "space sound generator". This is a system that simulates the engine sounds such as a V8 engine, a racecar engine and two futuristic soundscapes named "Beam" and "Warp".
