Tesla Roadster Sport Brabus Green Package

With the increasing popularity of electric vehicles, it only makes sense that high end tuners like Brabus are delving into the world of Tesla Tesla tuning along with the forward thinking electric charging station chain RWE with this modified electric roadster. RWE recognizes that the single largest drawback of an EV is the amount of time that it takes to recharge the batteries and feels that if owners had access to in home rapid charging stations, like their Eco-Power unit, that we would see a lot more on the road already. So at this year’s Essen Motor Show Brabus and RWE will have this lightly modified Tesla Roadster Tesla Roadster on display complete with the more practical Eco-Power charging station that fits in your garage and is able to top off the batteries three times faster than with a conventional outlet.

And if that still isn’t enough to convince you, RWE is also offering the use of all their public charging stations to their Eco-Power customers free of charge for up to one year.

The sides of the TESLA are upgraded with BRABUS under-floor lights that look like futuristic space lights. They are activated with the key fob or by opening the doors.

Custom-tailored BRABUS tire/wheel combinations further improve the car’s driving dynamics. The two-seater is refined with weight-optimized BRABUS Monoblock S alloy wheels in size 7Jx18 in front and in size 8.5Jx19 in back. The corresponding high-performance tires in size 215/35 ZR 18 in front and in size 255/30 ZR 19 on the rear axle were selected specifically for their low rolling resistance.

Innovative ideas have been the domain of BRABUS for more than three decades. Following that tradition the TESLA Roadster tuning program of the company from Bottrop addresses an issue often criticized on electric cars: The engine sound! To give the two-seater are more emotional sound the BRABUS electronics specialists have developed a space sound generator. The occupants of the TESLA Roadster can choose from various simulated engine noises such as the sound of a typical V8 or a racecar. Also available are two futuristic soundscapes called ‘Beam’ and ‘Warp.’ The intensity of the sound is dependent on the power output of the electric engine at the time.

So, its one of the electric cars today!Hmmm, I’m impressed on the looks of this Tesla Roadster Sport, very appealing, but I don’t really like the idea of having an electric car nowadays.

Currently there are only 160 of these stations, but 500 are expected to be installed in Berlin and 400 in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia soon.

I’m really a fan of Brabus tune-ups but I think on customizing the Tesla Roadster was not the right choice coz’ I don’t see some good points on this car. Maybe the LED lights on the headlight stunned me for a second but all in all, it was not impressive at all.

This car got an amazing set up. It’s hard to say which one is the bonus, the eco-friendly features or the whole design. Although green cars is the new trend, Tesla Roadster is better because they are working on the life of the battery. They are addressing the common problems on green cars. Expect that each year, green cars will be better.
