Ethos - one of the possible names for the future Lotus

What will the name of the future Lotus sports car is still a big mystery, and according to Lotus company it will stay that way until the car will make its official debut at the London Motor Show.

One of the possibilities is "Ethos", but a company insiders said this is not the strongest contender.

The car will definitely have a name beginning with “E”, and it won’t share its name with any previous Lotus model.

One thing is for sure: it will not be called Esprit, as that name is being reserved for the new range-topping, V8-engined supercar that’s due to launch in 2010.
