The Buick LaCrosse is a mid-size luxury sedan that was produced to replace the Century and the Regal. The first generation model began sales in 2005 with the second generation coming about in 2009.

The current LaCrosse is powered by a a choice of three different engines. The first is a 2.4L I-4 producing 182hp and 172lb-ft of torque. The second engine is a 3.0L V6 producing 255hp and 217lb-ft of torque, while the third is a 3.6L V6 getting 280hp and 259lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

2008 Buick LaCrosse to debut at NYIAS


Buick is trying all its best to revive itself in North America, where sales have fallen more than 40 percent since 2002.
