2012 Buick LaCrosse GL Concept

The 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show will be host to the Buick LaCrosse GL Concept - a vehicle that takes a step forward in defining automotive luxury. The GL Concept combines a palette of cabernet red, dark cocoa brown, and caramel chocochino inspired by the burnished metal of antique jewelry, ombré patina on vintage guitars, and flocked lining of keepsake boxes.

The exterior is painted in a cabernet red and is combined with brushed and tinted chrome accents on the grille, door handles, and deck lid, as well as around the windows, taillights, and headlights. A new set of satin-finish 20-inch rims completes the overall look.

Taking a step into the car’s interior will give you the impression of entering a nicely decorated room. It combines dark cocoa brown and caramel chocochino leather on the seats, doors, and instrument panel surfaces with a rich chocochino suede headliner and wood trim on the steering wheel and dash.

"The LaCrosse GL concept expresses Buick ’s distinctly human kind of luxury – one that is as warmly inviting as it is elegant and refined," said David Lyon, executive director of design. "The design cues that already distinguish the production LaCrosse – such as the premium leather-upholstered seats, ice blue ambient lighting and soft touch surfaces – are amplified in the GL and serve as inspiration for future Buick models."

The concept was good at all. I don’t know what’s different in the wheels, but there’s something I can’t explain. It’s nice, but I don’t know why. Maybe it was just good at any aspects.

Sadly, to say, I didn’t also find this concept a luxury vehicle just like what the article said. It is not really like the other vehicles, which is looking so fabulous and striking. However, I’m still quite impressed with its spacious interior.

I think the interior of this concept recovered my disappointment on this vehicle. Well, I just find it so spacious and comfortable. Anyway, I think they should enhance more the exterior style of it.

For a concept vehicle, Buick is not really a good-looking vehicle! Well, sorry to say, but I think no one will be bothered to glance on it even for a second, and it looks so outdated on its style.

I think they should use lighter interior touch on it. Anyway, I love its spacious inside and for having an impressive latest technology. However, I am thinking if what will be the engine of it?

I’m too disappointed on the style that this GL concept had. Well, it looks more a coupe for me. However, I’m still impressed on its classy interior features and with its technology.

It looks sexy on its side rims, and even though it is only on a simple style and detailing, I still noticed that it looks so attractive on that. Well, I am hoping that it could also have an impressive engine output.
