The Cadillac CTS-V is already one of the most bad-ass Cadillacs every built and one of the most awesome luxury cars available. It's supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine pumps out a stout 556 horsepower and 551 pound-feet of torque straight from the dealer. If you find these supercar-like numbers a little sub-par for your driving style, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE) has a solution for you.

LPE has recently released a trio of kits that cover all CTS-V models from 2009 through 2012. The packages range from mild modifications that give you a slight, yet noticeable, bump in power to extreme power increases with serious modification. The biggest issue, besides finding the funds, is choosing the kit that fits you best. Regardless of the kit you choose, you will not be disappointed.

630 HP Kit

The base-level kit from LPE is the Lingenfelter 630 HP supercharger pulley upgrade package. This package is perfect for someone looking for just a little more power, but nothing too extreme. This helps increase power without drastically affecting the CTS-V's drivability. This package adds in a 2.55-inch steel supercharger drive pulley, which helps overdrive the supercharger slightly and increase its rotational speed without adversely affecting the engine's power.

It also includes a new 8-rib supercharger drive belt, LSP solid supercharger isolator coupling, porting and polishing of the supercharger’s shout for better air flow, LPE air intake duct for smoother flow, K&N air filter, 160-degree thermostat, professional installation, testing and PCM tuning, before and after dyno reports, certificate of authenticity, and a 1-year/12,000-mile warranty.

This pumps the supercharger's boost to between 10 and 12 psi, which is a 3 to 4 psi boost. This increase results in a power increase to 630 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque. The standard kit with installation runs $2,595 plus $225 for an alignment, detailing, and fuel charge.

Optional Add Ons:

You can also add on LPE chrome fender badges for $44.00 or Corsa stainless-steel 3.5-inch Pro Series exhaust tips and 3-inch axle-back exhaust for $1,269.

650 HP Kit

The 650 HP kit includes all of the items from the 630 HP kit, and then a little more. The extras include a 10-percent overdrive harmonic balancer, which decreases the amount of engine power required to drive the accessories without dropping the effectiveness of the accessories like under-drive pulleys do, 63-pounds-per-hour fuel injectors, and all new gaskets, fluids, and bolts. This kit is good for an increase to 650 horsepower, and runs $4,895, plus $225 for the alignment, detailing, and fuel.

Optional Add Ons:

Just like the 630 HP kit, you can add on LPE chrome fender badges for $44.00 or Corsa stainless-steel 3.5-inch Pro Series exhaust tips and 3-inch axle-back exhaust for $1,269.

700+ HP Kit

Now comes the big boy, the 700+ HP kit. This kit includes everything that the 650 HP kit includes, but adds in some serious internal mods. With this kit, you get CNC port and polished cylinder heads, 2.165-inch hollow-stem intake valves, 1.59-inch high-temperature Inconsel exhaust valves, multi-angle valve job, Competition Cams valve springs, titanium retainers and 10-degree locks, GT9 camshaft by Competition Cams with a 0.629 lift/215 duration on the intake side and 0.656 lift/247 duration on the exhaust side, GM head gasket and bolts, and a 2-year or 24,000-mile warranty.

This kit will set you back a full $11,245, but it has the potential for over 700 horsepower and 685 pound-feet of torque.
