2011 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon Race Car

cadillac cts-v wagon race car picture

Apparently owning a wagon over in Dubai is about as cool as doing the Irish Jig in a Hip Hop dance club, but two guys over in the Middle East are combating this ridiculous notion with a rendering of a CTS-V Wagon Racer. Yes, sadly, it’s just a rendering, but Lap 57’s Emirati race driver, Omran Al Owais, and his brother Mohammed are hoping these images will increase interest and gather up some sponsors to make this vehicle a reality.

The Cadillac wagon seen in these images actually belongs to the brothers and they hope to take them to Nurburgring to complete the next step towards possible production. Before that happens, though, the two brothers are looking for advice from some top tuners, including Hennessey Performance and D3, on how to make this happen.

Currently, the CTS-V wagon is still in standard form which means it is being powered by a 6.2 liter supercharged V8 engine that delivers a total of 556 hp and 551 lb.-ft. of torque. We don’t expect to see many changes, but we imagine the changes actually made will resemble Cadillac’s adjustments to the CTS-V Coupe racer.

A CTS-V Wagon Racer is the dream car of Lap 57’s Emirati race driver Omran Al Owais who said: “We are hoping this fetish might catch on with other Emiratis and see them ditching their X6Ms and G55s, so that we start seeing serious girls on the road such as the RS6/E63 or the new exciting M5 Wagon. The streets of Jumeirah at night will never be the same.”

I think its current power output is just enough to have a blasting speed. I wonder whether they will join this car in the Le Mans race?

Seemingly customized and build on a more optimized details. Though this is not much of my interest or something that is attractive and outstanding.

Wow, I would say that this is one of the best modification of the CTS-V. The styling is incredible and its speed performance is quite awesome.

The deliver power output of the car is awesome though I think its kind of sporty for a racing prototype vehicle. I would love to see them use a more modern technology.

Maintaining a racing car worth in million dollar! You really need a lot of moolah in order to own this vehicle. I bet only the freaking wealthy folks can afford to buy this car.

And this is what we call a racing car! The speed performance of the car is quite impressive although its kind of gas guzzler! It has a incredibly amazing power output. I bet with the 5551 lb.-ft. of torque, its just enough to make the car runs like a rocket speed.

A Cadillac racing prototype. I definitely agree that it has the looks to be a sports car and the ability of the car on the road is really impressive. I hope they can create more versions of this one.

On my opinion, the car really fits for a race. I hope they can get more ideas and great advices from tuning companies they are with now so that they can be put this on production.

Well, for me I was impressed with the speed performance of the car . And I think its current power output is just enough to have a blasting speed. I wonder if they will join this car in the Le Mans race?

It seems that they haven’t boost the power output of the Cadillac CTS. However, its current engine performance is quite impressive though I was not satisfied with its little upgrade.
