2015 Cadillac ATS Crimson Sport Edition

Cadillac’s aggressive promotion of its brand doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, and just for the spring of 2014, it’s got a special model for those interested in a unique 2015 ATS Coupe . The model is called the Crimson Sport Special Edition, and while it does come with a host of new upgrades, including Caddy’s Track Package, the indelible characteristic of this special edition ATS is its Crimson Red Metallic exterior paint.

Unique as the paint is, the color isn’t the only thing special about the exterior of the vehicle. A ground effects package was also installed, featuring a color-matched front splitter, rocker moldings and rear diffuser, and an aero deck-lid spoiler. Finally, a set of exclusive 18-inch Manoogian Dark Silver Premium Painted wheels were added to the mix, giving the ATS Crimson Sport a true special-edition look to it.

Moving inside, four different interior environments — Morello Red with Jet Black accents, Caramel with Jet Black accents, Jet Black with Jet Black accents or Light Platinum with Jet Black accents — are offered to go with new heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel and shift lever, both of which are made from microfiber suede.

The ATS Crimson Sport Special Edition is offered with either the 272-horsepower ATS 2.0T Performance Collection with the automatic transmission or the 321-horsepower 3.6L Premium Collection with rear- or all-wheel drive. The model are set to hit dealerships at the end of March with a retail price of $46,010 for the 2.0T and $51,010 for the 3.6L.

Cadillac ATS Coupe

The 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe represents America’s return to form in the sports coupe market; one that’s currently dominated by European and Japanese companies.

That’s why it was important for Cadillac to make an impression with the ATS, and for the most part, it did.

The ATS Coupe is built on the same rear-wheel-drive Alpha platform as its sedan sibling, and is offered with nearly the same engine lineup as the sedan: a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder with 270 horsepower, and a 3.6-liter, V-6 with 321 horsepower. The engines are combined with either a six-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission. There is also be an option for all-wheel-drive.

Cadillac enhances the dynamic performance and design of the 2014 ATS sedan with a new, limited-edition Crimson Sport special edition. Produced only during the spring of 2014, the special edition sedan is characterized by its unique Crimson Red Metallic exterior paint and a collection of its sportiest performance attributes, including an available Track Package.

Navigation, sunroof, the Driver Assist Package and Advanced Security Package are all optional. Rear-wheel-drive 3.6L models also offer a Track Package.

The 2014 Cadillac ATS Crimson Sport Edition will be available in dealerships at the end of March. The limited-edition package carries an MSRP of $46,010 for the 2.0T Performance Collection and $51,010 for the 3.6L Premium Collection.
