Escort Passport 7500S

  news

Replacing the Escort Passport 7500, the 7500S has all of the innovations of the older model but with improved sensitivity. Escort is a company known for its superior innovations - particularly the distance at which its detectors recognize X, K, Ka, and Laser bands. Going above and beyond radar standards, the new 7500S uses Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to double K Band and triple Ka Band sensitivity. Translation - longer warning distances without increased false alarms.

Blistering Radar Detection Range

DSP The Passport 7500S radar and laser detector provides long-range warning on all radar bands: conventional and "instant-on" including X-band, K-band, and SuperWide Ka-bands. Extremely fast Digital Signal Processing provides even longer warning distances, without increased false alarms.

Exclusive Auto Sensitivity Mode

Intelligent AutoSensitivity mode provides maximum radar detection range, while virtually eliminating annoying false alarms from motion sensors, automatic door openers, etc. Highway and City settings are also provided.

Expert Meter Mode

Select the ExpertMeter mode with the EZ-Programming and the Passport 7500S display keeps you fully informed on up to eight radar signals at once - identifying the band and relative strength of each signal.

Multiple Laser Sensors

Ordinary detectors use a single laser sensor. The Passport 7500S laser detection section incorporates multiple low-noise laser sensors for maximum protection.

EZ-Programming

You can instantly customize Passport 7500S with your preferred settings for ten features, including Power-On indication, Meter type, AutoMute, Audio Tones, Brightness, Dark Mode, VG-2, and more. Just hold both top buttons to enter the Program Mode, and quickly review or change your settings. (Your preferred settings are maintained in memory, even when Passport 7500S is turned off or unplugged.)

Ultra-Bright Matrix Display

Matrix display uses 280 individual ultra-bright LEDs to provide crystal-clear signal strength readouts and text messages for programming options and safety radar signals.

Escort 7500S vs the 8500 X50

The 7500S differs from the 8500 in several ways. First, the 7500S detects radar and laser at a distance of 1-2 miles while the 8500 works at a distance of 2-3 miles. Also, the 7500S comes with a standard cigarette lighter power cord while the SmartCord comes standard with the 8500. Lastly, the 7500S does not have a reprogrammable processor. The 8500 can be upgraded as radar and laser technologies change in the future.
