Mansory typically provides its customers with some pretty cool tuning packages for their sports cars, but now the tuner has revealed a limited edition watch to add to their customers’ wish lists. Only 50 units of chronograph will be offered, and each of them will carry a price tag of € 8,900 (approx. $13,000 at the current exchange rates).
Kourosh Mansory, CEO of the Mansory said: "The co-operation with GRAHAM-LONDON derives from my long-term friendship with Eric Loth, founder and board member of GRAHAM-LONDON. His passion for dynamic automobiles and my enthusiasm for high-quality chronographs are perfectly combined. The GRAHAM MANSORY Chronofighter Oversize confirms this in a very impressive way."
The watch’s dial is made of carbon, a material typically used for sports cars. It also features a smoked see-through sapphire crystal with Mansory logo that provides an inside look to the clockwork Calibre G1734 with 48 hours power reserve. The black rubber strap is "Clous de Paris" and is decorated and adorned with the Graham and Mansory logos.
We’ve been running off all these technological products that bear automaker’s trademarks on them – just last week, we introduced the Porsche Lacie P’9220 and P’9230 hard drives – and just in case you already have these items with you, we’d like to introduce you to your next purchase: the Asus WX Lamborghini Wireless Mouse.
This new AAA battery-powered mouse would fit perfectly with the new Asus Automobili Lamborghini VX7 Notebook that was also recently launched back in April. It’s available for only $80, and for that price, you get a mouse that bears the sleek and sporty design cues of Lamborghini supercars, including three choices of a two-tone color scheme – yellow/black, white/black, and all black. There’s also a nano dongle attachment embedded on the mouse that allows it to connect to any USB port with a range of up to 10 meters. This high-frequency response range allows the mouse to work with instant precision without having to resort to any wires or other forms of interference.
According to Asus, the WX Wireless Mouse is a must-have item to include in your computer. “Based on the power and speed so coveted in Lamborghini vehicles, the WX-Lamborghini wireless laser mouse delivers a breathtaking experience in control," the company said.
"This is the ultimate style icon when it comes to mouse input, inspired directly by the powerful, angular shape so known from its motorized namesakes.”
Knowing our love for products that have automotive tie-ups to them, there’s a good chance that we won’t waste time adding a new wireless mouse to our collection.
Not enough space on your computer to store all your photos, movies, and what-nots? Well, why don’t you go the route of buying a hard drive? But instead of hopping over to Best Buy, why not buy a hard drive that will make you the envy of all your friends?
For a ’reasonable’ starting price of just $104.99, you can leave all the Western Digitals on the shelves and score these hard drives courtesy of Porsche Design and LaCie.
The former, as you may know, is the retail and merchandising brand of German automaker, Porsche, whereas the latter is one of the world’s foremost designers of hard drives. Perfect combination, right?
These new hard drives feature a minimalist design with brushed aluminum cases. They are the perfect data storage device to complement your laptops, but better yet, they come in two models with a variety of storage spaces to fit your needs and whims. There’s the P’9220, which comes in 500 GB, 750 GB, and 1TB capacities, and the P’9230, which comes in 1TB and 2TB capacities.
Imagine if you had one of those Acer Ferrari Liquid E mobile phones or even the Asus Lamborghini VX7 laptop, you’d be the poster boy of automotive fandom amongst your buddies. Maybe after you purchase this hard drive, you can score one of those printed mousepads of an Audi R8 to complement your technological homage to high-end European auto brands.

What can you do with $25K? Well, you could buy the recently launched Mini Coupe or an entry level Chevrolet Camaro. Then again, you could just pay an insane amount of money for an office chair that carries the Ferrari logo. Yep, Ferrari is now doing office chairs for $25K and people would pay that much just for a logo.
The Ferrari chair is offered in two versions - Black Alcantara over a Carbon Fiber Shell and Black & Red Leather over a Carbon Fiber Shell - and will only come in a limited run of 499 units worldwide. They are inspired by the seats found in the F430 Scuderia 16M and come in an ergonomic shape.
The headrest has an embroidered prancing horse logo in red thread and, just below it, an opening for shoulder racing belts. The seat base is an average width with a deep and comfortable back, a sculpted design that fits any modern office. The seat back tilt can be adjusted with a few turns of the carbon fiber knob on the side of the seat.
Tag Heuer has been rather busy this year coming up with several special editions to celebrate their partnerships. So far, we’ve seen the Tag Heuer Monaco V4 Titanium Chronograph, the TAG Heuer Limited Edition Indy 500 Centennial Chronograph, and the TAG Heuer McLaren MP4-12C Chronograph. Their latest ode is the limited edition Formula 1 Gulf Edition Watch which celebrates the timepiece company’s partnership with both Monaco Gulf and Formula 1.
The special edition timepiece is based on the steel 44mm wide Tag Heuer Formula 1 Big Date watch with a Swiss quartz movement and a time, subsidiary seconds dial. It features a black dial with a light gray cross-hatching pattern and contrasting Gulf racing stripes in orange and blue, as well as the orange and white Gulf logo. The Formula 1 Gulf Edition is available in either a steel or rubber strap.
The Tag Heuer Formula 1 Gulf Edition Watch sells for somewhere in the $1,000 range.
What can you do with $30K? Well, for one thing, you can buy a fully equipped family car, which would be one of the first things on many people’s lists. Ferrari, on the other hand, is offering another option: a masterpiece Jewel Brooch limited to only 3 units and available in the Ferrari Store. It can be yours for $30,416, but it will take up to four months time for delivery.
The Ferrari Brooch is crafted in elegant 18k white gold and measures 7.6 cm in height and 5.2 cm in width. It comes dressed up with 442 brilliant cut diamonds, 5.5 ct each.
The exquisite piece, handcrafted by the best Damiani master craftsmen, has been shaped to resemble the Prancing Horse, a legend in the history of motoring and the symbol of the Maranello House throughout the world. This brooch is the perfect proof that Ferrari can do the best in many areas, starting with cars, watches, and now even exquisite things like jewelry.
Swiss luxury timepiece maker Chopard is celebrating their 150th anniversary and as a tribute to this momentous occasion, the company has released a motorsports-inspired special edition watch that should have its fans drooling profusely.
The limited edition L.U.C. Engine One Tourbillon was unveiled at the recent Only Watch Charity Auction to benefit research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Dressed in a black and yellow-toned version of the Engine One Tourbillon model, the Only Watch limited edition is powered by an L.U.C Calibre 1TRM ‘motor’. It features a look similar to an engine block and is mounted on silent-blocks with a mechanical hand-wound tourbillon movement that was exclusively designed, developed, and built by Chopard.
The mechanical hand-wound tourbillon movement beats at a cadence of 28,800 vibrations per hour while driving displays of the hours, minutes, seconds. It also has a power reserve that lasts for about 60 hours.
Staying true to the motorsports inspiration, the engine block on the face of the watch features the Chopard signature while the DLC titanium case features alternating matte and polished finishes and has been designed to be water-resistant of up to 50 meters. Even the watch’s dial bears inspiration from the motoring universe, as does the hand-sewn black alligator leather strap that comes with four reinforced inserts bearing inspiration from car seats found on classic racing cars. The slightly curved lugs that have been screwed into the case carry the effect of streamlined car wings to provide a snug and perfect fit on the wearer.
No word yet on how much the watch fetched at the Only Watch Charity Auction, but judging by the look and painstaking detail in developing the piece and the use of a plethora of expensive items, we wouldn’t be surprised in the least bit if this fine piece of craftsmanship fetches a price north of six digits.
The Tag Heuer Monaco V4 range of watches is by all accounts, one of the most sought-after Tag Heuer watches we’ve seen in a while. First introduced in 2009 with the release of the Platinum Edition, the Monaco V4 range sprang another version a year later called the New Generation Rose Gold Edition”. And now that it’s 2011, the Swiss timepiece maker has decided to introduce the latest addition to the line: the Titanium Limited Edition.
Sporting the same 41mm “New Generation” V4 case, the Titanium edition differentiates itself by the use – and plenty of it – of titanium on a number of its parts, including the case, the hour markers, the hands, the crown, and the folding buckle. On top of that, the watch also features a mix of Ruthenium and Ceramic with the former used as the black coating on the ridged dial of the watch while the latter runs along the side of the watch.
As a special edition watch that’s limited to only 200 units, the Tag Heuer Monaco V4 Titanium Edition won’t come cheap. Prices have yet to be announced, but it is looking to fetch a price tag of about $120,000. The watch is set to become available in October, which means that anybody with any remote interest in buying this watch will have about four months to save up for the purchase.
It’s been over a year since the last Hummer rolled off the production line, ending the gas-guzzling era of the oversized and intimidating vehicle. Now, in a production more ironic than Congressman Anthony Weiner actually showing off his wiener, General Motors has unveiled an electric golf cart version of a Hummer for all of those men in plaid pants that want to display their machismo on the course. The MEV Hummer HX is now on sale for a bargain price - when compared to a full size Hummer - of $16,000.
The MEV Hummer HX electric golf cart was named after the HX concept revealed by GM in 2008. It is powered by a 3.75hp electric motor, but a $1,475 5.5hp electric motor is also available as an upgrade.
The model comes standard with upholstery embroidered with the H2 name, a custom floor kit, polished chrome wheels, side rails, a rear license plate, a painted front grille, H2 logos on the sides and rear, a HUMMER stamped rear bumper, and an H2 body kit licensed by General Motors. The HX MEV can also be ordered in a 6 passenger limo version for $3,874 or an 8 passenger version for $4,974.
