What you need:
- Rubber gloves (if necessary)
- Paper towels
- Ammonia
- Bucket
- 2 Sponges or washcloths
- Towel
- Remove all of the vomit, using a rubber glove (if necessary) and paper towels.
- Open all of the car doors while you clean to let the vomit and ammonia smell leave the inside of the car.
- Mix a quarter of a cup of ammonia and a cup of warm water into a bucket.
- Take a sponge or washcloth, which ever you prefer, and dip it into the ammonia mixture. Squeeze out lightly the excess water.
- Scrub the stained area. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have clean the stain.
- Take the second sponge or washcloth and soak it in warm water.
- Go over the area with the sponge or washcloth, to rinse the area.
- Take a towel and dry the area as much as you can.
- If the stain is not removed you can take the ammonia mixture and sponge a little on the stained area. Let it soak for at least 10 minutes. Then repeat steps 4 – 7.
- Let the area dry.
