The 2008 Dodge Viper will use a McLaren-massaged V10 engine, probably the one shown at SEMA in the ASC Diamondback Viper. The engine is rated at 600-650hp, a fat 110 hp more than the current version, so the 2008 Viper could sprint from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds.
Both coupe and convertible models will be made. The production will start in early 2007.
