2009 Mercedes E63 AMG to get 525 hp

Autoweek caught the next-generation E63 AMG in testings at Nürburgring. In the same way as the C63 AMG will feature an unique front axle and heavily reworked electronic stability system.

The E63 AMG will be unveiled after the next generation E-Class will be unveiled in March 2009. Mercedes will use unique body panels and other exterior details. Some of those panels could be made of composite material to cut weight.

The next E63 AMG will be powered by a 6.3-liter V8 engine with an output of 525 hp.
