2009 Opel Insignia first official images

After many spy shots of the future Insignia here are the first official images! The car will make its official debut in July at the London Motor Show and will go on sale in October.

Even if there are no official informations about engines, is supposed to be powered by either a 1.6 liter or a 2.0 liter turbo engine. A 2.8 liter V6 engine that produces 250 hp is also under consideration. Diesel versions will include 1.9 liter engine with output between 120 and 150 hp. The 1.9 liter engine is already used in the Saab 9-3 and the Cadillac BLS.

An OPC version will also be unveiled at a later date and will be powered by a 2.9 liter V6 diesel engine that delivers 300 hp.
