Audi R8 V12 TDI Concept production cancelled

Few days ago unofficial sources confirmed that the Audi R8 V12 TDI has 50/50 chance to enter production. Today these chances simply vanished due to Michael Dick, head of development at Audi AG , who confirmed that the the Audi R8 V12 TDI will remain only a concept car.

However we still have some good news: the Audi R8 will feature a diesel engine, the smaller 4.2 TDI capable of developing 326 hp, but we do not know exactly the launch date.
