Ford and Foose to create special editions for 2007

Starting 2007, Ford will start selling special editions designed by Chip Foose, one of the sharpest independent designers.

The first model modified will be a F-150 truck, and while Robert Parker, Ford brand car marketing manager did not said anything about any other models, the Fusion will be for sure one of this special editions.

"The vehicles will deliver on the Foose DNA without diluting the Ford promise of being affordable," Parker said in an interview at the SEMA show.

The vehicles will be assembled partly on Ford assembly lines as well as by third-party manufacturers, similar to Ford’s arrangement with Carroll Shelby for the special edition Mustangs bearing his name.
