Gran Turismo 5 to feature Top Gear shows

Producer Kazunori Yamauchi announced that the Gran Turismo 5 will feature something new for all the fans and car lovers: Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, in a word Top Gear team, will be available also for Japanese fans but only via Gran Turismo TV, an online TV network. Sony wanted to offer this well-known tv show also to the fans accross the ocean due to the fact that Top Gear is almost impossible to see on TV in Japan.

Mr. Yamauchi gave us informations about some other features that the game will include: Museum for example, provides historical information about each brand found in Gran Turismo 5 while online mode adds in-game voice chat and private race options.

This was followed by an announcement of an online car dealership screen that was newly added as part of taking the game online. Mr. Yamauchi hopes that the new online car dealership screen that allows each brand to present a set of informations regarding their cars, will be well received by the fans of Gran Turismo series.
