BMW’s 3-Series is a real success all over the world. This is why, Jaguar had to do something about it. And they will, with the launch of the new X-Type facelift later this year. The new X-Type will go on sale in spring 2008.

Even if the 2008 X-Type is a facelift, there won’t be any radical changes: a new grille, different bumpers and side mouldings, fresh paint colours and new wheels.

Under the hood there will be a choice of diesel and petrol engines: 2.0- and 2.2-litre diesels and 2.5 and 3.0 V6 petrols.
