Jaguar X-Type R

Jaguar has decided to create an R version for the X-Type sedan. The engine will be the same as in the XKR: V8 supercharged with an output of 420 hp. The new X-Type R will be a competitor for the Audi RS4, the new Lexus IS-F and the future BMW M3 that will be unveiled in March at Geneva Motor Show.

The most important modifications in the X-Type R are: new 19" wheels with R symbol, two air inlets on the cowling like on the XKR, lateral profile, new rear bumper, lower than in the X-Type, R logo and the lateral profile with written "Supercharged".
