At the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini will unveil a face-lifted version of its Gallardo, likely to be called LP550. It will be powered by a 5.2-liter V10 with direct-injection technology. It will deliver 550 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque, making it 30 hp and 15 lb-ft stronger than its 5.0-liter predecessor.
Both the manual gearbox and the optional e-gear sequential transmission have been improved and are now capable of sending more power and torque to a lighter, more efficient permanent all-wheel-drive system.
The Gallardo LP550 edition will be priced around $200,000.
