Porsche revise the Cayman

Porsche is revising the 911 and also the Boxster . From this changes will also benefit the coupe model derived from the Boxster series, the Porsche Cayman. The model appeared in 2005 but after less than 2 years the German maker decided to update the this coupe along with the rest of the Boxster models.

For the two series the changes will be almost identical, with minor modification on the mechanical part and also to the aesthetics parts.

The face of the car will include new headlight design, and minor modification on the spoiler. The projectors of the recent models may be replaced by some in the style of the Porsche 911 Turbo .The headlights will now include two xenon bulbs for better lightning. At the rear the taillights will have a new shape and will profit from LED technology.

Like the Cayenne and the new modified Boxster, Cayman will also benefit from the new Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) technology which will lower the fuel consumption. You may expect an increase of power with 13%, and so the performances of the small Porsche will be improved.

The new Porsche Cayman may be launched at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, along with the 911 Carrera and the Boxter, as 2008 models.
