The Tesla Roadster is a bit of strange car, it has the look of a sports car, yet it is a car powered by batteries!

We have got used to seeing electric cars that weird in design, trying to look like something from a future world and that never really live up to any expectations as they have low speeds and short ranges, but the Tesla Roadster is a completely different machine, it uses the body and some interior components of the Lotus Elise, so we already have a smart looking car, but battery power! Normally this is where the car would let us down, yet this is a car that has a top speed of of over 130 miles per hour and will get you from standing to sixty miles per hour in around four seconds, now that puts a completely different complexion on the idea of electrically powered cars. There are hardly any moving parts the cost of maintenance is low too.

This car is truly an innovation in electrically powered cars and should be hailed as a masterpiece of new technology as the only recommended service is at 100,000 miles for brake and tyres to be check, this is quite impressive and of course the Governor. Arnold Schwarzenegger has stated at the LA Auto Show that this car is hot, and who is going to argue with him!
