Although Peugeot 307 is suffering from a relative recent facelift,the french constructor is working on the new 308.

The hurry is motivated by the opponents,who prepare new models as well.Alfa Romeo is preparing the replacement for the Alfa 147 in May 2006,and Renault the next version of Megane.

Until 308 will appear,Volvo c30,and Fiat Bravo are making the rules.

The new Peugeot will have at the start two versions,a hatchback with 3 and 5 doors,and a slightly bigger length. The propulsion is assured by a 1.6 developed in collaboration with BMW,and a new one,a 2,2 diesel.

On the base of 308 a new model will be produced ,a one like VW Cross Golf.
