V6 diesel powered Borrego coming in 2010

Kia unveiled the 2009 Borego SUV at the Detroit Auto Show. This model, that will go on sale this summer, is powered by either a 3.8 liter V6 engine or 4.6 liter V8 DOHC engine that produces more than 300 horsepower. The V8 engine is mated to Kia’s new six-speed automatic transmission.

Also, at the Detroit Auto Show Kia presented a V6 diesel engine, which the company says will be available in the Borrego later in 2010. The engine produces up to 247hp with a torque of 398 lb-ft.
