VW New Beetle Goodwood from JRD Tuning

The Company was created at the origin in Sweden, the native land of the founders.It was then the great jump towards States where the firm started to work for famous car-builders such as Renntech or Rinspeed.
There, an American manufactures, Gift Panoz, required in 1999 a collaboration in the development of its Panoz Esperante.Today JRD is the official tuner of Panoz.
JRD extends however its portfolio to other models according to the request.On this New Beetle JRD proposes 2 engines: one of them will be the 2.0litre TFSI giving 250bhp while the other will be a V6 3.2litre from R32 to which will be mounted 2 turbos to carry the power to 385BHp.
The frame, brakes and other elements will be adapted to his sudden growth of power.
This Beeatle Goodwood will have a retractable glass-roof and indicators from the Porsche Turbo 997.For the transmission you will have to chose between a simple traction or coupled with the 4motion system.For 0 to 60 time are estimated 5 seconds, and the maximum speed will be more than 165miles/hour.
