How did a 1964 Buick Wildcat arrive on Ohio's Hamilton County online auction website? Read on to find out more!

Sometimes I just sit in front of the Google News ticker and wait for something interesting to flash by.  One such item that caught my attention was this 1964 Buick Wildcat with 103,889 miles on the clock.  What's so interesting about the car besides its age?  Well, it's being offered by a government agency!  The car came from the City of St. Bernard, a small town near Cincinnati, Ohio, which asked Hamilton County to offer the vehicle on its online auction site.  It's unclear how the City of St. Bernard ended up with the Buick, but more than likely it was seized during a police investigation.  The current bidding for the car is at $1,526.  The auction ends on 1/2/2008 7:00:00 PM EST.

To view the auction, you have to register (very easy, no e-mail validation) on the site by clicking here.  Once you have registered, click on Hamilton County Ohio, then select vehicles, automobiles, and then click on the Buick.  To find out more about the Wildcat, which was produced from 1962 to 1970, you can visit this Wikipedia page.
