1st episode of 12-part Corvette Racing Series show finally released

  news

Chevrolet Corvette Racing’s 12-part mini documentary has begun with The 12-part series, which chronicles the teams first full season competing in the American Le Mans Series GT2 class, begins with the first episode covering the team’s final moments of the 2009 Laguna Seca race, including a dramatic 50-plus g crash into a wall just before the Corvette C6.R would have crossed the finish line.

The episode also shows a determined Doug Fehan, Corvette Racing Program Manager and Dan Binks, the crew chief Corvette Racing making a bold promise that the new Corvette C6.R would be faster than last year’s model so as to avoid any crashes like the one that robbed them of a strong finish in Laguna Seca last October

The tail-end of the show features Corvette Racing’s current preparations for the 12 Hours of Sebring, which officially is the start of the 2010 ALMS season.

We know that the bitter taste from last year’s disappointing end is still in Corvette Racing’s mind so we’re confident that they’re going to bounce back pretty strong this year and as the first episode of this 12-part series has shown us, these guys mean serious business.

Le Mans race is really something to look forward to as it is not just with the driver but with the reliability of the cars as well. Although I wont be betting for corvette, I hope their team gets the best out it and be save at the same time.
