2008 Audi A5 - spy shots

Audi’s next Coupe, the A5 was caught testing at Nurburgring. The testers done a good job of disguising its origins , but the taillight treatment gives away the four-ringed game.

The car will use the A4 architecture, but will be priced above that car, and will be powered by a 4.2-liter FSI V8 engine on higher-end models. As ever, expect standard Quattro all-wheel drive, and the availability of a six-speed manual and DSG dual-clutch transmissions.

The Audi A5 is expected to go on sale in 2008.
