First we have to wait for a production model of. The standard Camaro in 2008 or 2009.But this pictures caught your eyes, am I right? Many of you will spend nights and days to dream of this car, maybe in secret you will save up some money and you will tell your wife that you want a 7 seats-van for your kids and for your dog. 2007 chevrolet camaro ss This pics are desired to make a impression of how the sport version of a future Camaro should look. The old model has a top version named SS. Chevrolet is definitely forced to give birth to the SS version if they want to keep alive the tradition. The Camaro concept use a 400hp 6.0-liter V-8 engine mated with a six-speed manual transmission, but for the SS they will certain use a more powerful engine. It have to compete with true American muscle cars like Viper, Ford Mustang, Dodge Charger and inevitable with his brother Corvette. We don’t know how close is the Camaro SS in the pics, from the future one, especially at the back side, but the front looks like is ready to eat a Mustang on a traffic light.  We won’t make suppositions for the power or the price but you can begin from now to find a buyer for your kidney or for an eye. collins (6686) - Posted on 03.6.2008 I personally love the concept design of the new SS ,but as the owner of a 1985 Z28; I tend to agree that the Z28 Camaro with set the standard for sports and performance cars. the motor should be none other than a newly modified 396 big block with a stock hp of nothing less than 500 horses. there should also be an optional 4-speed(inline racing) or 6-speed transmission(road rally) and the 4-speed should have a rearend ratio of 411 gears and the 6-speed should have 373.

The other Camaro they have coming out doesn’t do anything for me. I have owned 3 camaro’s 67-68-69 and I like this version a lot.

Is this basically a concept car someone designed, or is this something that is pretty actual and projected to come out in the near future? If this hits the market, this same very version shown on the photo above, business is bound to go down for any exotic manufacturer!

 The top level 5th generation Camaro will not be an SS. A certain someone within Chevrolet and someone who deeply cares for Camaro can be quoted as saying "Any Chevrolet can be an SS but only a Camaro can be a Z/28." Expect the Z/28 to come out at least a year after the Base V6 and Base V8 (likely SS) models. Expect the 3.6 DOHC V6 seen in the upcoming Pontiac G8 to be the V6 with a 6.0 or 6.2 NA Gen IV V8 powering the base V8 model. The Z/28 could go a few directions and right now IF a decision has been made GM is keeping a tight lid on it. Whatever V8 GM decides to put into the top Camaro expect it to handle better than all of its competion. With double pivot struts up front and a sophisticated and durable IRS hanging out back the Camaro will have a similar suspension setup as the last generation BMW 3 series and should have more than enough power to outpower most of its compeition. Also those photochops are years old lets at least use ones of the actual concept shall we?
