Maybach announced the MSRP for its 2008 line-up. The Maybach 57 is priced at $341,750 and its more powerful version, 57 S, at $381,250 and the 62 is priced at $392,750, while for the 62 S you will have to pay $432,250 (prices include $2,750 destination charge).

The 57 and 62 are powered by a 543-horsepower, twin-turbocharged V12 engine that produces 664 lb.-ft. of peak torque at only 2,300 rpm. The Maybach 57 from zero-to-60 mph in just 5.2 seconds (5.4 seconds for the Maybach 62) in near-silence.

The 57 S and 62 S are powered by a higher-performance version of the Maybach twin-turbo, intercooled V12 engine. Designed and hand-built by Mercedes-AMG, the 57 S and 62 S powerplant displaces six liters, a half-liter more than the standard engine. With higher turbo boost pressure and other modifications, the engine produces a stout 604 horsepower and a massive 738 pound-feet of torque from as low as 2,000 rpm.
