Based on the Opel GTC Concept, unveiled at 2007 Geneva Motor Show, the next generation Vectra will be unveiled in 2008. The fourth generation Vectra will be based on the new Epsilon 2 platform, and will have a wider and taller body to provide more space inside for the passengers.

The 2008 Vectra will be powered by a range of engines including three four-cylinder engines: with 1,6, 1.8 and 2.0 litres capacity (140, 175 and 220 hp), a 200 hp 2,7 litre V6 Turbodiesel and a newly developed 2,8 litre V8 engine.

The 2008 Opel Vectra will compete with the Ford Mondeo and the Volkswagen Passat.
