2009 subaru forester to be unveiled at detroit motor show
Subaru will unveil the all-new redesigned 2009 Forester next year at the Detroit Auto Show. As the previous model, the 2009 Forester will be built on the Impreza platform, so it can easily compete with Toyota RAV-4 and Honda CR-V

The 2009 Forester will be wider than the current model and 2 inches wider than the Outback. Under the hood there will be the same naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter found in the base Impreza.

If the real thing looks like the rendering above then it would be pretty cool. Add the turbo engine and the upcoming diesel and voila...perfect.
