The German tuners at Hofele Design have just come up with a new appearance package for Porsche’s best selling SUV. The 2010 Ceyster GT 660 is based upon the Hofele 560 kit for the Cayenne, except that along with a few more available horse power, this one is a wide body model. The kit features a wide mouth front bumper feeding extra air to the Turbo’s intercoolers as well as a pair of extra driving lights for a more aggressive look. The hood gets a pair of power domes with vents in the back for hot air extraction as well as behind the wheels in the front fenders. Out back, Hofele adds a sporty spoiler and a new diffuser to go along with the wider wheel arches. The Ceyster’s sporty look is completed by a slight chassis drop to bring the body down closer the Reverso 22 rims, that of course measure 22 inches in diameter. Hofele is also quick to point out that because the majority of both generations of Cayenne are so similar, the Ceyster kit can be fitted to pre facelift models, not only updating their appearance, but giving them a sportier look at the same time. Aside from the extensive array of body mods, Hofele also has a few tricks in their bag to bring the turbocharged Cayenne’s output up to around 600 HP and 642 lb-ft of torque. Press release after the jump. Press release The new styling kit for the Porsche Cayenne 957 consists of a complete front bumper with four distinctive additional lights, new LED day driving light and a double light with cornering light and fog light. Big air intakes provide the intercooler of the big Turbo engines with more air. Trapezoidal tailpipes made of stainless steel are integrated into the new rear apron. The rear diffuser is removable to give access to the trailer coupling and is also available in carbon. Pirelli tires in the size 295/30 R22, mounted on the mighty 22 inch “Reverso 22” designer wheels take care about the right traction. The car can be lowered 40mm either with sport springs or an ETS module which lowers the air suspension. 3 comments: 2010 Hofele Ceyster GT 660 That’s why I’m thinking what’s the name of the car that looks the same as this one. Well the Cayenne is always outstanding for a muscle car and now that Ceyster GT 660 is here, the expectation of power on this new SUV have reach the level of a high performance muscle car.
SUV is much of a family car. And the latest developments being featured by the Hofele Ceyster GT 660 are all for safety. They are not merely for fashion, like the headlights. Designs made by specific cars are made considering the type of people that are going to use them.
