After the first images (supposed to be official) of the 2010 Mazda3 (concept version), Infomotori revealed new renderings of the future model. The concept version will be revealed at this year’s Paris Auto SHow, while the product version will follow in 2009. The design is clearly inspired by the Nagare, Ryuga, Hakaze, Taiki and Furai concepts, but also from the newly launched Mazda 6 and Mazda 2. It will be offered in both sedan and hatchback versions. Engine will be changed also: Mazda will place new 2.0 and 2.5-litre engines and a six-speed box giving plenty of pace. .
7 comments: 2010 Mazda3 new renderings Im a fan of Mazda Hatch. not because we have one. it’s because i like it’s performance, and it handles well, IMO this new model does not captivate me, the 2009 mazda 3 is way better looking it looks more aggressive and attractive, in this model i hatethe rims, and it’s front it looks smooth and weak.
i hope they will build it keeping that look, but if the price is bigger then the Golf or the Focus i don`t think they will sell to many Mazda3, everything depends on the performance.
Is the market ready to swing back to such a round, swoopy shape? I didn’t care for this sort of front end when it first appeared on the Saturn SC and such.
