2010 Zagato Perana Z-One

If in 2009 at the Geneva Motor Show Zagato brought a first concept version of the Perana Z-One sports car, this year at the same show the company brought the production version ready. The Perana Z-One will be the first sports car to come from South African and will have an estimated price of $65,000. Zagato hopes to build around 100 units a year.

It’s powered by a GM-sourced 6.2-liter V8 engine that develops 440 hp. No word yet if this rear-wheel drive car also borrows other bits from GM’s part’s bin, but we do know that weight is down to a svelte 2634 lbs. This should be good for a 0 to 60 mph time in about 4 seconds.

Mine will have a SLP Supercharged LS9 making 610 HP!

Very ambitious project, looks like a cross between a Ferrari F12, 2009 Ford Shelby, and a Corvette! GM Performance chassis with matching LS9 engines - SWEET!

I must have this one not all have this kind of quality starting from the outside to the inside.

Mmmm, nothing too flashy but not ordinary. It does look a little bit a lot like all the supercars nowadays. The lines seems familiar and the only difference at most are some of the lines, the grills and the emblems. Sometimes the door are quite similar to each other too.

Everything is reasonable about this one. It has a superb performance and the best quality, props to this one.

well it’s looks says it all. it does look like a piranha. but i like the rear end of it.

440 hp is quite reasonable, but IMO it’s not enough for this kind of sports car. comparing it to Lotus evora it has more aggressive looking and quite impressive rear design.
