After months of speculation, and a sales date scheduled for sometime next year, the BMW 6-Series Concept was finally revealed at the 2010 Paris Auto Show. And already it has taken a backseat to even bigger ideas set forth by the creative minds of the world. What’s the use of soaking in all of the concept details without predicting what the next step will be for the German auto brand?

Thanks to one artistic mind, we have a rendering of what could be the BMW 6-Series Roadster, that is, if BMW->ke178 decides to take the concept to the next level. In this rendering, we have the same stretched bonnet, short front overhang, and the deep set passenger compartment as found in the concept that has been on everyone’s mind for the past few weeks.

Could this be BMW’s next move? It’s quite possible, although they are said to already have a roadster in the works by way of the 2005 California Spyder Concept presented in Los Angeles in 2005. Either way, we are not too sure if either one of these roadsters will be what BMW needs. Each variation has an extreme style that may not suit the BMW-lovers of the world. You know the fans that like the conservative, never-changing designs that BMW has been spoon-feeding us for so many years.
