2013 SRT Viper Music Video

SRT has unveiled a new video for its latest Viper sports car. The video is dubbed "Music Video" and does exactly as it says — shows the Viper in action with a nice soundtrack in the background. One of the coolest parts of the video is that is shows off the viper in several colors, so we get better look at the available-color pallet.

For those of you who still do not know, the SRT Viper is powered by a new 8.4-liter V-10 engine that delivers a total of 640 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. The new engine mates to an improved Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission. This combination launches the Viper from 0 to 60 mph in just 3 seconds and allows it to hit a top speed of 206 mph.

The Viper can be all yours for a price of $97,395, or $120,395 if you opt for the GTS version. If you’re still a little short on cash, you can simply enjoy the video for now.

i love the looks of this car. the long sleek bonnet hiding that huge engine is just great!

this is clearly not a car to be driven around all day long. so i guess the consumption is less relevant.

i do not want to think about how much this car consumes. i mean, a 8.4 liter engine has to be thirsty.

this car has the perfect combination of more and less: more power and performance for less money!

so i guess that clarkson’s principle works great here: more IS better.

the funny thing is that this viper can beat ferrari’s and lambo’s. and it can do it quite easily. at is a lot cheaper too.

i think any SLS owner would be quite amazed to have this car in the rear morror at all times, no matter how hard he pushes it.

i think the SLS is more than 3 times more expensive. and this viper can quite keep up to the SLS.

you do realize that the SLS is 3 times more expensive, don’t you?

that is as cool it is in a SLS, that gets the same 640 HP out of a 5.5 liter engine, if i’m not wrong about that.

i think that is a naturally aspired engine, which means you have the 640 HP at your disposal at all time! how cool is that?

let us not forget about the performance that engine has: 640 HP is not little!

8.4 liter V-10 engine!?! that is HUGE !!!!

there are a few amazing numbers here: 8.4 liter, V10, 640 HP, 600 pounds-feet torque, 0-60 in 3 seconds, 206 MPH top speed. compared to those, the price is a bargain!

another american classic car, another great car!
