BMW is all set to launch the 2014 BMW M3 sedan and M4 coupe on Thursday, December 12, 2013. A day ahead of the launch, we bring you the first official images that have leaked onto the Internet. What you are looking at, is a set of official high resolution images of the new M4.

BMW had unveiled the concept M4 at this year's Pebble Beach Concourse in a brilliant new shade of gold, but BMW->ke178 did not reveal the interior of the Concept M4. Since the M4 Concept's unveiling, we've spotted test mules of the car in Europe, as well as in the U.S. The M4 was also put through intense tests on the Nordschleife in Germany.

After the official unveiling of the concept M4, BMW released some basic technical details about the upcoming M3 and M4 and, as expected from an M performance car, the 2014 M4 packs some serious power and modern technology.

BMW will announce the pricing for both the M3 and M4 on December 12, 2013. Keep watching this space for more on this.

2014 BMW M4

This is the first time in the history of the brand that the name "M4" has been used. BMW has chosen to clearly differentiate the 3 Series sedan and 4 Series coupe, and the M4 will be the flagship of the 4 Series.

Under its hood is the same 430-horsepower, 3.0-liter engine with power going to the rear wheels. It gets a carbon-fiber roof, like the E90 M3, and a carbon-fiber engine brace can also be seen in the images here.
