The highly-anticipated 2015 Mustang will wear a base sticker price of $24,425, with sales to begin this fall, Ford->ke31 revealed yesterday, without mentioning anything about pricing for the more powerful EcoBoost and GT versions of the sixth-generation pony.

Fortunately, our friends over at Mustang6G have obtained pricing for both the EcoBoost and the GT Mustangs, which, together with the additional sheet of options listed below and the previous leaks, will help you create the 2015 Mustang of your dreams before placing an order with Ford.

While the entry-level, V-6 pony fetches at least $24,425, making it almost $2,000 more expensive than the current base model, the Mustang fitted with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine retails from $25,995. Once a Premium package is added, the EcoBoost will cost $31,790 before any options.

Moving over to the GT, the V-8 Coyote-powered Mustang will ease customers of $32,925 of their hard-earned in the least expensive trim and more than $38,720 with a Premium package and a other additional goodies. The base GT is only $1,815 more expensive than the 2014 model, while the GT Premium comes with a $1,615 surcharge on top.

Lastly, the Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition, which will be built in only 1,964 units and fitted with an array of exclusive features, will retail from $46,995, being the most expensive new-generation pony->ke507 until a high performance GT350 or GT500 arrives next year. Those that aren't keen on spending nearly $50K on the limited-edition model can opt for the 50th Anniversary Package. The bundle costs only $1,595 and can be fitted to both the EcoBoost and the GT.

Why It Matters

Needless to say, Ford did a great job to keep the 2015 Mustang affordable and charge a sub-$2,000 premium over the outgoing model. Sure, a well-equipped pony with a V-8 engine will blow past the $40,000 mark, but the V-6 is pretty much on par with its Chevrolet->ke248 and Dodge->ke249 rivals. And we'd dare say the GT is quite the bargain when compared to the BMW M4, a coupe many have listed as a rival for the brand-new Mustang.
