The Pontiac Trans Am is a car that made history. So is no surprise people want it back. And while Pontiac has no chance to revive the name, there are tuners out there who found solutions for that. For example Gearhead Performance Group (GPG) took a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro and transformed it into a Trans Am. Their car is powered by a 6.2 liter twin turbo LS9 engine, that delivers a total of 900 hp. The engine is mated to a 6 speed transmission with hardened gears and drive axle. Besides that it gets custom suspensions and functional fender vents for brake heat reduction, it is lowered 1" in the front and 2" in the rear and sits on 22" custom wheels (snowflake available). .
